How to Use Chart Maker
- Choose a chart type from the sidebar (bar, line, pie, and 7 more)
- Enter data in the table, import a CSV/Excel file, or paste data — the chart updates live
- Map columns as Labels (X), Values (Y), or Skip during import to control what gets charted
- Customize colors, labels, style, and display options. Drag the sidebar edge to resize it
- Click Download PNG or Download JPEG, set dimensions and scale, then download
Frequently Asked Questions
What chart types are available?
Bar, horizontal bar, stacked bar, line, area, pie, doughnut, radar, scatter, and polar area — 10 types total. Each supports customizable colors, legends, value labels, and gridlines.
Can I import data from an Excel or CSV file?
Yes. Click Import in the Data section. You can drag and drop a CSV, TSV, or Excel (.xlsx) file, or paste data directly. After uploading, a column mapping step lets you choose which columns are labels, values, or should be skipped. Empty columns are auto-skipped.
Can I compare multiple data series?
Yes. Bar, line, area, radar, and scatter charts support multiple series. Click '+ Series' to add columns, or import a file with multiple value columns. Each series gets its own color and legend entry. Focus a series name to see a delete option.
What export options are available?
Click Download PNG or Download JPEG in the chart preview area. A popup lets you set custom dimensions (up to 4000px) and scale (1x to 4x for retina/print quality) before downloading.
Is this free for commercial use?
Yes. Charts you create are yours to use anywhere — presentations, reports, websites, social media, or publications. No watermarks, no attribution required.
