Use every tool instantly. No sign-up, no login, no email.
Data Processing
Every tool on DotsApps runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you paste text, upload a file, enter numbers, or generate content, all processing happens on your device. No data is sent to any server.
We have no ability to see, access, or recover anything you type or upload into our tools.
Local Storage
We use your browser's localStorage to save app data so your work and preferences persist between visits. This includes:
- Theme preference — your light or dark mode choice
- Favorites — tools you've marked as favorites
- Recent tools — your recently visited tools for quick access
- Tool data — saved inputs, settings, or results within individual tools (e.g., notes, todo lists, timer settings)
All of this data lives exclusively in your browser. We never read it, sync it, or send it anywhere. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Cloud Sync (Optional)
We offer an optional Google Drive sync feature. If you choose to enable it, your saved tool data is backed up to your own Google Drive account. We act only as a bridge — your data goes directly from your browser to your Google Drive. We never store, read, or process your synced data on our servers.
You can disconnect cloud sync at any time from the sync panel.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are most useful and how visitors find our site. Google Analytics may collect:
- Aggregate page views and traffic sources
- General device and browser information
- Approximate geographic region
This data is anonymized and aggregated. It does not include any content you enter into our tools. You can block analytics by using any standard ad blocker or browser privacy extension.

No other third-party services, ad networks, or tracking pixels are used.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to request, export, or delete on our end. Your browser's localStorage is fully under your control. To clear all DotsApps data:
- Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12)
- Go to the Application or Storage tab
- Clear localStorage for dotsapps.com
Changes to This Policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Since we don't collect emails, we can't notify you directly — but our commitment to privacy-first, client-side tools won't change.
